MDO has been dubbed ‘the most important pop band in Latin America’.  And judging from its showcase at Orange last Thursday night, it is no wonder.

The hunky quintet from Puerto Rico has a style that is distinctly Latino.  Hot, sassy and passionate, their larger-than-life presence on the dance floor explains the full house at Orange and the crowds of fans itching to get up close and personal.

For their first live performance in Asia, the five young men- Abel Talamantez, 22; Alexis Grullon, 24; Didier Hernandez, 21; Pablo Portillo, 22; and Caleb Einar Aviles Reyes- burst to life with their opening hit, Lock All The Doors, treating the audience to their raw and sexy energy.

Provocative salsa beats, sexy hip movements and sharp thrusts of groins, tailored to arouse interest, kept the audience riveted.  Raunchy, fiery pieces like Baila more than made up for it, leaving many females swooning and sending temperatures soaring.

Without a doubt, this band leaves nothing to be desired.
