Before joining MDO, Pablo was part of the group Liberacion, a band whose album covers featured Pablo right up in the foreground and the rest of the countless aged members stretching far into the horizon…. The youngest member of the group, he was also the lead singer, his honeyed vocals characterizing hits such as the catchy Si Estuvieras Conmigo. In fact, Pablo has been singing all his life, being part of a choir at a young age.
His dream being to sing pop, Pablo took matters into his own hands in early 2000 when the search was on for a new member to replace Anthony Galindo, inviting MDO to watch him perform in a Liberacion concert. That was his audition, a performance that made him the newest member of MDO.
Because Pablo's English is still a little shaky, he did not have the chance of solo vocal expression in the English album Little Piece of Heaven. To make up for this, he led nearly half the songs in the album Subir Al Cielo. His rich, resonant voice capable of hitting a wide range of notes on the scale breathed life into the bittersweet and beautiful Te Quise Olvidar, putting it up on the charts for weeks, as well as the engaging Baila, an invitation to dance that no one could decline.
His legendary quote: ‘We have to fight for our dreams, do something to try and accomplish them daily; wake up with a smile on our face and live life with joy.’
